Brief summary of the classes

Music and Meditation
Music is meditation. Whether we spend some quiet moments listening to spiritual
music, or actively engage in playing or singing spiritual melodies, we achieve
the same benefits as with other forms of meditation.
The class will explore the role of music in meditation.
Mantra and Japa
Mantra means ‘incantation’. The repetiton of a mantra keeps our mind busy
and at the same time inspired by the eternal truth embedded in the mantra.
Japa is a systematic repetition of a mantra hundreds of times to purify our mind.
The class will explore the role on mantra in meditation, and dwell on some of
the most famous mantras from the ancient Indian scriptures.
